Nordic Legal Tech Day Stockholm 2026: that’s a wrap

On 7 October, a sold-out Posthuset brought together in-house counsel, law firm leaders, legal tech founders and investors for the twelfth Nordic Legal Tech Day in Stockholm. We wanted to get past the hype and ask what is actually happening, and the day delivered.

Alexander Irschenberger (Legal Tekno) opened with how to build the legal teams of the future. Armin Catovic (Funnel) followed with The AI-Native Firm, a hard look at what happens to business models when AI becomes part of the cost base. Next came Horizon Scanning demos from Legora, Leonh, EG Lex247, Aloi, Wordsmith AI, Norstedts Juridik and Lexnus.

Panels covered law firms’ paths to AI-native practice, Legal AI 3.0 and investing in legal tech, and the knowledge sessions dealt with agentic legal departments, AI governance and digital sovereignty. The day ended with the Legal Innovator 2026 award, the start-up pitch contest and a full bar.

One message kept coming back all day: the tools are ready, and the edge now comes from the people using them and the context they work with.
